Friday noon and the #RunToTheHills 2018 course is almost ready and well signed, with gates and flags starting from the top of the double chairlift at 2120m and with the finish line at the bottom of the Elimia surface lift at 1750m where is also the setup of the Rail Jam, the Red bull tents with the Dj booth the Demo tent with the new 18/19 boards from Nitro, Jones and Slash snowboards ready to be ridden.

Saturday afternoon and the course is getting more demanding after the many tracks of the day .

Later at night the lobby of Casa La Mundi Hotel is packed with riders eager to get one of the 80 bibs that will let them at the starting point.

After the riders meeting Dj Hot Like Peppa and Dj Cult Battles, are in charge at the Hot Tub Party and are fully responsible that almost no one was on time next day.

Sunday morning and as always Mother Nature has the last word and the snowfall together with the thick fog make the starting point and the first half of the race track almost invisible.

Plan b at the very last moment and the « Omixlh Crew’’ team up with some other «brave’’ men and get lost at the ‘ fog vertigo’ trying to find the’ invisible gates’ of the first half and repost them into the forest at the top of Elimia. Finally all is ready at the new Starting point and sign is off with the riders dropping all together with Le Mans style.

Karpouzakos was the first to strap and lead the race until he fall into a snow well and let the local Taso Takola taking the advantage for the rest of the race until one fall little before the finish line gave the opportunity to the other ‘local’ George Seitanidis to finish first .

The judges need to check the photo finish to finalize the top 10 places since they came all together after the leader.

Another awesome event came to an end with a little delay, but for sure it was something that will be remembered for long, but it couldn’t be happened if some quys didn’t got their asshes off.

So big props to Panagiotis Topalidis, Socrates Bunovas, Vasilis Koutlemanis Miltos Tzimas ,Aris Akritidis, the MX Crew, Red Bull crew, Station Streetwear crew and Vasilitsa resort crew.
