We always wanted to do a "Chinese Downhill" event and since the conditions seemed to be right we were tempted and ready to try it out! Although it didn't turn out totally "Chinese" but it was combined a bit with a "banked slalom" style, the main receipe was a success and 48 men, plus 5 ladies that didn't have much of a chinese appearance took their chance to participate!

3-5 Pigadia resort turned out in a really friendly and collaborative resort and we couldn't have asked more as guests, everybody were hyped with the whole set-up of the event!

 The abbundant snowfall of Friday night  it was a real gift and after a few powder runs on early Saturday morning we started setting everything for the event...the MX Fun Bag at the center was heavily sessioned by snowboarders and skiers testing their skills and throwing new tricks into the "soft" landing, while at the NITRO test center tent everybody could try the 2018 sticks. A TSG tent was also there and everybody could get wasted at the infamous DESPERADOS beachbar while listening to the beats of the RedBull jeep pumping tunes through the DJ'S  Hot Like Peppa (JP productions) ,CostaVamvaka, Alex Lambridis 1055 rock radio station.

 Sunday morning the weather had other ideas and the fog delayed a bit the whole main event!

The visibility at the starting gate of the chalet 2005 was really low so we had to move it at a lower point and into the woods... The pole position was set and all the participants where amped and ready to run at the new starting point which consisted in a "Le Mans" style lane... the carnage was about to begin!
