The Meteorite binding is designed for the all-mountain rider that wants a stable and comfortable binding with a tweak-able medium soft flex. The Meteorite delivers precision response thanks to SKATETECH technology that transfers your energy directly to your edges. The Meteorites Dynamic Flex highback is sti in the center for solid support and softer on the sides for friendly maneuverability. The Meteorite can be set up in Surf mode or Freeride mode by switching bushing and interchanging the ankle straps between bindings. Surf mode oers maximum tweak-ability, Freeride mode oers maximum response. To keep your boots locked in with no strap bite, the Meteorite is fitted with our new Power Ankle Straps and 3D Flex Fit 2.0 toe straps. The molded Power Ankle Straps are wide and asymmetric for enhanced comfort and adjustable response and the low profile 3D Flex Fit 2.0 toe strap is slightly stretchy to conform to any boot shape. The Surf Series Meteorite model features a 3 degree canted footbed and a Power Spine Ankle Strap for added turn response.

Power Ankle Straps are made of durable molded ABS and are wide + asymmetric for enhanced comfort and adjustable response. Flip-It Strap compatible (Freeride mode + Surf mode).

The Kingpin is the fulcrum that the Hanger pivots on. Design magnifies energy transfer and enhances board response through leverage.

The Post attaches the hanger to the kingpin and is the connection between binding and board.

Bushings are the primary binding contact point and offer customizable response and dampening (Surf Mode and Freeride Mode).

No comparison to traditional bindings
Power is transmitted through the center disk.
When you make a hard heel or toe turn on traditional bindings the pressure you place on your straps goes into the fixed center disk and forces the binding baseplate to bend before power is delivered to the edges. Energy is concentrated at the center of the board with traditional rigid baseplates which decreases potential turn power compared to SkateTech bindings.

Our bindings offer customizable dampening and response by switching between Surf Mode and Freeride Mode. Surf Mode lets you tweak harder, while Freeride Mode keeps you locked in for maximum response. Switch modes by changing the bushings from soft (Surf Mode) to hard (Freeride Mode) and adjusting the Flip-It ankle straps. The Flip-It strap allows you to interchange the ankle straps between the left and right binding to create custom response.
Freeride mode
Position the wide half of the strap above the buckle for more lateral support and board response. Use Hard Bushings for maximum board response.
Surf mode
Position the wide half of the strap below the buckle for solid heel support but more ankle flexibility for getting loose. Use Soft Bushings for a looser, more dynamic surf feel.
