The new Nitro splitboard binding was designed and engineered together with the most capable splitboarding partners at Spark R&D. The Colab combines the simplicity and durability of Sparks TeslaT1 baseplate design with Nitros quality of cable parts, comfort and reliability of straps and buckles. The Vertical splitboard binding is equipped with the Nitro Recline Highback, First Track ankle straps, Vibram© EcoStep Übergrip toe straps and reinforced cables in the ratchet ladders. Effortless on the way up, comfortable and supportive on the way down. Fresh tracks are waiting!

Übergrip Toe Strap with Vibram© EcoStep™ Rubber
Co-developed with VIBRAM®, known for their high performance rubber outsoles, we designed a toe strap that combines the shape and feel of our B.E.S.T. Convertible toe strap concept with the sticky X strek/ ECO STEP rubber from VIBRAM®. The strap adapts to any boots toe box shape while the rubber keeps the strap in place, no matter how hard you stomp your landing, whether it’s wet or freezing.
We are continuously looking for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and waste in production and we are happy to announce that we are now working with the Vibram © ECOSTEP™ rubber for less waste and better traction.
Cable Reinforced Connectors And Ratchets
